For their efforts this past year, Outgoing President Joe Kohn awarded Past President Bob Pope with the Distinguished Service Medal and Color Guard Commander Dan Hamilton with the Meritorious Medal.

Compatriots Dan Hamilton and Brent Murray joined the North Texas Color Guard recognizing Veterans at the Mt. Gilead Cem. in north Keller, Texas.

Nancy Bergvall of the Lucretia Council Cochran DAR Chapter and Bob Pope of the Arlington SAR Chapter were the Masters of Ceremony and controlled the meeting.

Dan Hamilton gave the Color Guard Introductions and Compatriot Charge.
Kevin Kanter, the Texas SAR President-Election, gave announcements.
Bill Covington, the Main Speaker gave obervations that led up the the Declaration of Independence.
Everyone had a great time.
