Welcome
Greetings Patriots!
Welcome to the website of the Peter Sides Chapter (formerly the Waco Chapter)
of the Sons of the American Revolution.
We're having a great year in 2024. Like last year, we're working toward increasing our
membership, as well as our involvement with DAR and other community events.
We're continuing to feature our members Revolutionary War ancestors in Minuteman Moments.
We support the local ROTC and JROTC organizations and have presented numerous certificates.
We honor our forefathers and all those who have fought for our country.
And we actively recognize the service provided by our members who have served in the military,
as well as those who provide assistance and support to our country's veterans on an on-going basis.
In November, we will decorate the gravesites in the War Veterans section of Rosemound Cemetery with American
flags. Our Color Guard will present the colors. This year, we will also set up flags atop the monument which
honors those veterans. A brief chapter meeting will follow.
We invite you to join us!
